About Chloe
Hi, I'm Chloe, a product designer based in Boston, originally from Seoul. I lead with empathy, collaborate with intention, and approach every project with a learning mindset.
I'm passionate about intuitive, inclusive design, and love pushing the boundaries of UX through emerging tech. But fair warning: I'm also that person who will as "why?" seventeen times in a meeting.
My story
Growing up, I was the kid who never stopped asking questions. In Korea, we have a saying: "The rascal four"— that relentless phase when four-year-olds ask why about everything (I never grew out of it). That same curiosity shapes how I work today.
I've always drawn to the craft behind great art and design. Turns out, when you combine an obsessive need to ask "why?" with a passion for creating beautiful, functional things, you get product design and it became the inevitable answer.
In practice, that curiosity means I'm never satisfied with surface answers. I dig past surface-level symptoms to find the root cause, those subtle truths hiding in plain sight. Great design doesn't start with problem statements; it starts with truly understanding the essence of the problem. My design process always begins with deep discovery: understanding what's been tried, what's worked (or hasn't), and why.
My journey spans 5+ years across industries- from hospitality to startups to designing for B2B e-commerce at Boston Scientific, where I own and manage a global design systems. Whether I'm crafting a design system from the ground up or building entirely new products from 0 to 1, I bring the same curiosity and care to the design lifecycle.
Outside of work, I'm a foodie, a huge fan of silly dog videos, and probably spending way too much time perfecting a recipe. If I'm not at my desk, you'll find me in the kitchen cooking something delicious (and likely asking myself why this sauce isn't thickening).
We got married this summer!
