About Chloe
Hi, I'm Chloe, a product designer based in Boston, originally from Seoul. I lead with empathy, collaborate with intention, and approach every project with a learning mindset.
I'm passionate about intuitive, inclusive design, and love pushing the boundaries of UX through emerging tech. But fair warning: I'm also that person who will as "why?" seventeen times in a meeting.
My story
Growing up, I was the kid who never stopped asking questions. In Korea, we have a saying: "The rascal four"— that relentless phase when four-year-olds ask why about everything. I never grew out of it.
That let me to design. I've always drawn to understanding the craft behind things that work beautifully, and I realized that combining that obsessive need to ask "why?" with a love for creating functional, thoughtful experiences was pretty much product design in a nutshell.
In practice, this means I don't settle for surface-level answers. I dig into root causes and look for the subtle truths hiding in plain sight. To me, great design doesn't start with a problem statement - it starts with truly understanding the problem itself. My process always begins with deep discovery: what's been tried before, what worked (or didn't), and why.
I've spent over five years working across hospitality, startups, and B2B e-commerce. Currently, I'm at Boston Scientific, where I own and manage global design systems. Whether I'm crafting a design system from scratch or taking a product from 0 to 1, I bring the same curiosity and care to every part of the design lifecycle.
Outside of work, I'm a foodie who spends way too much time perfecting recipes. If I'm not at my desk, I'm probably in the kitchen cooking something or watching an embarrassing amount of silly dog videos.
We got married this summer!
